Starfish Program

Starfish supports children and young people aged up to 18 years, to improve their emotional health and wellbeing.

A child or young person may be eligible if:

  • They are aged between 0-18 years

  • They reside in the appropriate catchment in Moreton Bay

  • They are displaying early signs of mental illness, or are at risk of developing mental illness

  • They are not in the care of the Department of Child Safety

  • They have a parent/guardian who is willing to support them in the program

Redcliffe-Caboolture Child and Youth Mental Health Service

Redcliffe-Caboolture Child and Youth Mental Health Service (RCCYMHS) provides specialist recovery-oriented mental health services to children and young people with severe, complex and enduring mental health difficulties within the Redcliffe, Caboolture, Bribie Island and Kilcoy regions. RCCYMHS multidisciplinary team also provides support to children and young peoples’ families and other stakeholders.

Brisbane MIND4Kids

Brisbane MIND4Kids delivers short-term psychological therapies for children aged 0-11 years presenting with moderate symptoms of mental illness. A parent/guardian must hold a healthcare or pension card to be eligible. Referral is made by your GP.
